The three-digit card verification code (CVV/CVC code) must be entered for Internet purchases. You will find it on the back of your card (last 3 digits on the right in the signature field).
Take care not to pass on your code to anyone else, especially not in connection with the card number.
Please contact our customer support via contact form. They will immediately block your card, send you the documents necessary for processing and explain the further procedure. Please note: If during the ongoing procedure it should transpire that the reported transactions were authorised by you, you might incur further costs. Please handle this possibility with care and refer to the table of fees for reimbursement on our portal for the incurred costs.
You can block your card by phone or online. To block your card over the phone, please call 0800-0007936 (toll-free from a national landline). From abroad you can reach us at +49 (0) 89 998298610 (additional charges may apply from abroad). For online blocking, please log in to your customer portal. There please click on “Block card” and follow the instructions.
